A weekend at the farm

We had a lovely time at the farm this weekend, with Don's family. The weather was perfect for:

a spontaneous game of football;

a walk in the bush;

and some wildlife watching.

Dinner conversation

What is your conversation like around the dinner table? If you had been at our table last night you would have been privileged to be part of a conversation following the theme: Do chickens wear underpants? What are your thoughts on the matter? Littlest chicken was heard to exclaim very emphatically "But chicken's don't wear underpants!" Very wholesome and uplifting....?!

What was very uplifting, was our weekend with a team from The Father's House. I'd like to rave about it, but gosh - I'm not even sure where to start! Am feeling very tempted to sell the house and move down to Lawson....

We also had a nice time at Gunnedah's Koala Park last week with some other families from our homeschool group.

Sunshine

We've had some gorgeous sunny days lately. The ornamental pear tree has burst into flower, and the bees are loving it!


On the days when it has rained or the wind has been bitter, we've been doing more drawing tutorials from YouTube (Mark Crilley's to be specific). I had fun with his 'How to Draw a Realistic Eye' tutorial. Now to find out how to draw the rest of the face...
