Clothing refashion

A plain and boring t-shirt into a much more interesting one. I think so, anyway!

A bit of slicing and dicing, changing buttons, and adding a hood to this jacket has made it so very comfortable. I love the urban-style. And the walking foot and jeans needle on my sewing machine made sewing through all those layers a walk in the park. I kept raving about it. Honestly. I think Don was very close to rolling his eyes!

Better than Lego

What, you may ask, is better than Lego?

The answer: chocolate lego people! (You can buy the silicon moulds on eBay and various other places).

Sunny afternoons

I love how our Art times turn into such peaceful, sun-soaked afternoons that seem to go on forever... I think most of the time eldest chicken and I are the only one actually doing the activity suggested in the book, but oh well....
