More Bees

Capturing bees

Trying to capture nice sharp photos of bees is a challenge I'm always trying to conquer. Because I find the tripod is often more of a hindrance than a help, most of my photos end up like this:

Very blury.

But then that moment comes along where the bee just stays still long enough... or I'm quick enough...

This last photo is quite interesting, because the bee is still flying but you can't see it's wings because they are moving so quickly beside it's body. Love those chunks of pollen on the legs too!
